Safety culture

We promote safety and mental health as basic human needs. We collect data and conduct research on safety, risk assessment, emergency behavior, etc. We develop safety recommendations for the 2402 Foundation’s educational program, public, volunteer and other non-profit organizations.

Promoting a “Culture of Safety” is a comprehensive approach to creating an environment where everyone prioritizes being safe. In the context of journalism, this means fostering a conscious attitude to risks and developing skills to assess and minimize them.

The implementation of this concept is necessary to ensure a systematic approach to the protection of journalists. This increases preparedness for unforeseen situations, helps to preserve the life and health of media workers, and improves the quality of work in difficult conditions.

Security culture is especially relevant today, when there is an increase in threats in the context of a full-scale invasion. Not only the physical but also the psychological safety of journalists is becoming an important aspect.

Safety and mental health are important!
